Just results
Upload a finished sheet from a tournament you already ran, even mid-flight. Entrants with a matching email link straight to their account; everyone else appears by initials until they claim. A flagged row gets fixed inline or skipped, never the whole file.

Take entries, publish the draw, and score it courtside: two taps a set, working offline until you get signal again. Every result lands in the verified match ledger as it happens.
Your whole season
Team Up finds you a doubles partner by area and band. The circuit race turns placements into a running regional leaderboard, with quarterly qualifying spots. Both sit behind Premium. The upgrade page is live on your account, and card payments are being switched on.
What your event makes on its own
Nobody designs these by hand. Every event generates them the same way.
What running one actually looks like
Not a feature list. This is the order things happen in, and what the phone in your hand is doing at each point.

| Three weeks out | Create the event and cap the level. Venue, date, format, fee, and a band window, say D+ up to C+. The cap is enforced when people enter, not argued about on the day, so the draw you publish is the draw you get. Publish and it is on the public tournament list the same minute, findable by town, county or postcode. |
| Entries open | Entries, partners and a waitlist that runs itself. A pair enters together, or one player enters and invites their partner by link. Once you are full the next entry joins a waitlist. When someone withdraws, the top of that waitlist is promoted and told, without you rebuilding a list at 11pm. |
| The week before | Lay out the draw in one pass. Choose the format, how many courts you have and how long a round takes. The scheduler lays the rounds out in waves and tells you when the last match finishes. Change the court count and it re-lays it. If anything moves, one message reaches every entrant at once. |
| Any time | Or bring in the one you are already running. Already halfway through, on a spreadsheet or in a WhatsApp group? Create the event, mark it in progress, and upload the entrant list you have got. Rows we cannot read come back one at a time with a suggested fix already in the box. Players with no My Pila account are imported anyway, and the verified result waits for them if they ever claim it. |
| On the day | Score it courtside, signal or no signal. Two taps a set from the phone in your hand. If the venue drops out, scores queue on the device and send themselves when it comes back. Each one carries its own key, so nothing is lost and nothing lands twice. The public live board updates for everyone watching from the café. |
| Afterwards | Results settle, then do it again next month. Each scoreline goes to the pair on the other side of the net to countersign. Once it is confirmed it is final. Nobody, including you, edits it afterwards. Next month’s event starts as a copy of this one: same format, same courts, same band window, new date. |
Your results become real ratings
A scoreline you enter is not taken on trust and it is not taken on ours either. It goes to the pair on the other side of the net, and only a countersigned result moves anybody’s number.

Eleven minutes, one Saturday. The scoreline and the names are an illustration; the trail is what every result leaves.
Nothing is edited after the fact.
A confirmed result is final for everyone, including you. If it is genuinely wrong, a player can point at the match and it is corrected in the open, as a new entry. It is never quietly overwritten.
A player is rated from their first verified result.
Not after twenty matches. One of your club nights is enough to give a first-timer a real number, which is a reason for them to enter yours rather than wait.
The band window is the same instrument.
The cap you set is a range on the twelve-band scale every player sees on their own profile, so “D+ to C+” means the same thing to them as it does to you.
Checked by a person, not a form
Every application is held for at least 24 hours and read by someone on our side. Nobody signs up and starts affecting other players’ ratings the same afternoon. That is the only reason a rating built out of club nights is worth anything.
